CHESAPEAKE – HRSD crews will install sanitary sewer pipeline at the intersection of Great Bridge Boulevard and Bainbridge Boulevard beginning as early as Monday, March 10, with work expected to continue for 4-6 weeks.

• Passenger vehicles will follow a signed detour route for thru traffic for Bainbridge Boulevard using S. Military Highway, Campostella Road, Great Bridge Boulevard, Lincoln Street, and Outlaw Street as indicated on the map below.

• Emergency and bus services are aware of this road closure.

• TRUCK TRAFFIC NOTICE: Great Bridge Boulevard will be closed at both Bainbridge Boulevard and Campostella Road for thru truck traffic. Trucks will follow the detour using Dominion Boulevard and S. Military Highway. Detour signs and Portable Message Boards will be in place for the truck route.
