Park Avenue Pump Station Concrete Pour Update

Following the initial pouring of the pump station’s walls earlier in January, our contractors will conduct a secondary pouring within aluminum molds to complete the forming of the new pump station’s walls.

The secondary pouring of the concrete to form the pump station walls is tentatively scheduled as early as January 25th from 6AM – 5 PM. On the pour day, up to two pump trucks will be present on the new pump station construction site. A staging area for the concrete trucks feeding the pump truck will be present behind and in front of Rena B. Wright Elementary School with a wash-off area off Perry Street. Contractor staff or “flaggers” will be present to guide traffic on Park Avenue and Perry Street, but no lanes will be closed during this time.
