--Project Update--

--Paving to Occur on Great Bridge Boulevard and at the intersection with Bainbridge Boulevard--

HRSD, your regional wastewater treatment utility, will continue work to complete the sanitary sewer pipeline project by performing asphalt restoration work along Great Bridge Boulevard and at the intersection of Great Bridge Boulevard and Bainbridge Boulevard. This work should take place primarily between the hours of 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday – Friday.

--Temporary Road Closure at Jolliff Road near Goose Creek Flyway--

HRSD, your regional wastewater treatment utility, is working to repair a line break that occurred on Thursday evening, February 27, on Jolliff Road near the intersection of Goose Creek Flyway. In order to investigate the leak and repair the pipe, crews have put in place a road closure and detour for motorists. A map of the detour is provided on the back of this notice.

--Utility Work to Occur--

HRSD, your regional wastewater treatment utility, will make a minor repair to the tracer wire (helps locate buried utilities quickly and safely) along River Creek Road as part of the Great Bridge Boulevard Sanitary Sewer Improvements project. This work should take place primarily between the hours of 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday – Friday.

CHESAPEAKE – Motorists and residents are advised that HRSD is performing emergency sewer line repairs on Jolliff Road between Goose Creek Drive and Jolliff Woods Drive. A temporary detour is in place to safely complete this work.

Motorists traveling along Jolliff Road will follow a signed detour around the work using Goshawk Drive, Condor Drive, Curlew Court, and Barn Swallow Drive to re-access Jolliff Road as indicated in the map below with red arrows.

--Project Update--

--Manhole Frame Replacement Work on Great Bridge Boulevard--

HRSD, your regional wastewater treatment utility, is nearly finished with the sanitary sewer pipeline project. Remaining work includes the replacement of frames and covers on Manholes along Great Bridge Boulevard, followed by paving of the area when warmer weather is consistent. This manhole frame work should take place primarily between the hours of 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday – Friday.

--Ferebee Pump Station Construction Update--

CHESAPEAKE – Motorists are advised that HRSD crews are performing emergency sanitary sewer repairs requiring lane closures at the intersection of Cedar Road and Country Club Boulevard.

During this work, the oustide eastbound through lane on Cedar Road and the right turn lane to southbound Country Club Boulevard will be closed to safely perform the repairs.

These lane closures are expected to remain in place through Tuesday, December 30, while repairs are completed.

CHESAPEAKE – Motorists are advised that HRSD will be performing a sanitary sewer repair on southbound Bainbridge Boulevard at the Great Bridge Boulevard intersection. During this work, lane closures will be in place that will affect the flow of traffic as indicated on the map below. The work is scheduled to begin as early as 4:00 p.m. on December 12 and will potentially be in place through the weekend.
