VIRGINIA BEACH – HRSD is hosting Operations and Maintenance Career Open House events on November 5 from 9 am to 1 pm at its Virginia Beach and Newport News administrative offices:
VIRGINIA BEACH –HRSD crews will be performing sanitary sewer work which requires the temporary closure of all northbound lanes on Little Neck Road between Edinburgh Drive and N. Lynnhaven Road beginning Friday, July 29th at 8:00 p.m. through Tuesday, August 2nd at 5:00 a.m. A detour will be in place for thru traffic by way of Virginia Beach Boulevard, Kings Grant Road, and N. Lynnhaven Road as indicated on the map below.

This work will be performed continuously 24 hours a day from Friday, July 8th through Tuesday, July 12th. This work can be weather and situation dependent and should not affect your water or sewer services.

VIRGINIA BEACH – HRSD/HRUBS will resume assessing late fees against unpaid balances beginning May 2022. Water service shut-offs for non-payment of delinquent bills resumed the week of April 4, 2022, lifting a two-year moratorium established due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
