Lane Closure Scheduled for Portion of Terminal Avenue for Utility Work
NEWPORT NEWS – Motorists are advised that HRSD will begin work to install a sanitary sewer pipe along Terminal Avenue. This work will require a southbound lane closure of Terminal Avenue between 14th Street and the I-664 South on ramp. The lane closure will begin as early as March 2 and will remain in place through early April. Traffic lights will be in place to direct traffic. Motorists will need to follow the marked route as indicated on the map below.

This work is part of the Boat Harbor Pump Station Conversion project and is weather dependent and subject to change or require additional time. Please visit the Newsroom on HRSD.com for updates and schedule changes.
