Virtual meeting scheduled via Skype
VIRGINIA BEACH - In adherence with CDC recommendations of social distancing to minimize the spread and exposure to COVID-19, the July HRSD Commission Meeting will be a virtual meeting held via Skype on Tuesday, July 28 at 9:00 a.m.
Commission agendas are posted on www.hrsd.com/commission three business days prior to each scheduled meeting.
--Work to Begin--
HRSD, your regional wastewater treatment utility, is undertaking a project to repair an underground sanitary sewer pipe along Orcutt Avenue between Paul Street and 72nd Street. This work should take place primarily between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Due to the nature of construction, work is weather and situation dependent, and dates are subject to change.
--Paving to Begin--
HRSD, your regional wastewater treatment utility, will begin work for milling and paving as part of our ongoing project. The work is scheduled to take place between July 18th through July 20th. This work should take place primarily between the hours of 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday-Monday. A single lane closure, with flaggers, will take place along Shell Road and along Winslow Avenue.

This work should take place primarily between the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Due to the nature of construction, work is weather and situation dependent, and dates are subject to change.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

HRSD, your regional wastewater treatment utility, is undertaking a project to inspect and perform maintenance of the internal sanitary sewer piping and valves along Pocahontas Trail and Warwick Boulevard. This work should take place primarily between the hours of 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. This work can be weather and situation dependent and should not affect your water or sewer services.

HRSD, your regional wastewater treatment utility, continues work in your area. The Virginia Beach Boulevard Sanitary Sewer Pipeline Improvement project will replace the existing 24-inch sewer pipeline with a larger 42-inch pipeline to reliably move increased sewer flow along Virginia Beach Boulevard from North Lynnhaven Road to Great Neck Road. The work in your area should take place primarily between the hours of 7 a.m. and 8 p.m., Monday through Friday.
VIRGINIA BEACH – Virginia Governor Ralph Northam has reappointed current commission members Stephen C. Rodriguez of Chesapeake and Molly Joseph Ward of Hampton to continue service on the eight-member HRSD Commission.
This is the second reappointment for Mr. Rodriguez and the first reappointment for Ms. Ward.
