Notice to Neighbors - October 2020
HRSD, your regional wastewater treatment utility, in coordination with the City of Newport News, is planning a project in your neighborhood to replace the existing HRSD sanitary sewer pipelines that are nearing the end of their useful life. This replacement project will also improve the system’s performance and ensure continued, reliable sewer service in the future. Construction Notice for the City of Norfolk - October 6, 2020
--Work To Begin--
HRSD, your regional wastewater treatment utility, is undertaking a project to inspect and perform maintenance of the internal sanitary sewer piping and valves along 39th Street. This work should take place primarily between the hours of 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. This work can be weather and situation dependent and should not affect your water or sewer services.

Construction Notice Update #8 for the City of Chesapeake - October 2020
--Canal Drive Closure & Detour--
HRSD, your regional wastewater treatment utility, is working on a project to install a sanitary sewer pipeline along Canal Drive between the intersections of Norfolk Southern Railroad and South Military Highway. While excavating in Canal Drive near the Norfolk Southern Railroad, a temporary road closure is needed, and a detour will be put in place to allow local traffic to pass around.

VIRGINIA BEACH -- In adherence with CDC recommendations of physical distancing to minimize the spread and exposure to COVID-19, the next meeting of the HRSD Commission will be a virtual meeting held via Skype on Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at 9:00 a.m.
