VIRGINIA BEACH -- HRSD Commission Chair Stephen C. Rodriguez of Chesapeake and Ann W. Templeman of Hampton have been reappointed by Governor Glenn Youngkin to each serve additional four-year terms on the eight-member HRSD Commission.

HRSD, your regional wastewater treatment utility, is undertaking a project to inspect and perform maintenance on the sanitary sewer piping along Old Dam Neck Road. This work should take place primarily between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. beginning as early as Thursday, June 27th. This work can be weather and situation dependent and should not affect your water or sewer services.

HRSD, your regional wastewater treatment utility, is undertaking a project to inspect and perform maintenance on the sanitary sewer piping between Lisa Square and Pipers Crescent. This work should take place primarily between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. beginning as early as Tuesday, May 28th. This work can be weather and situation dependent and should not affect your water or sewer services.
VIRGINIA BEACH – Motorists are advised that HRSD crews will be performing sanitary sewer pipeline improvements on Arctic Avenue that require a road closure between 28th and 30th streets. During this work, through traffic will follow a signed detour using 28th Street, Pacific Avenue, and 30th Street as indicated on the map below. Local traffic will continue to have access to homes/businesses. The detour is scheduled to begin as early as April 15 and is expected to remain in place through the end of April.
HRSD, your regional wastewater treatment utility, in coordination with the City of Virginia Beach, is planning a project in your neighborhood to rehabilitate existing HRSD sanitary sewer pipelines that are nearing the end of their useful life. VIRGINIA BEACH – HRSD crews will be performing utility inspection and maintenance work on Independence Boulevard at the intersection of Ewell Road beginning as early as 8:00 a.m. Saturday September 16, and lasting until 8:00 p.m. Sunday September 17. This work will require closure of a left turn in each direction of Independence Boulevard. Motorists will also be restricted from turning left onto Independence Boulevard from Ewell Road as indicated on the map below.
