-- Night Work to Begin --
HRSD, your regional wastewater treatment utility, will begin work to replace a section of the 24-inch sanitary sewer pipeline with a 42-inch pipeline along Virginia Beach Boulevard extending from Kings Grant Road to Great Neck Road. This large project also includes some smaller diameter pipeline and utility relocation work. The current work in your area should take place primarily at night from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.

VIRGINIA BEACH – Motorists are advised that HRSD crews will be performing ‘around the clock’ underground utility work this week, starting tonight, December 11 at 9 p.m., and continuing through 5 a.m. Monday, December 16. During this time, traffic will be reduced to two lanes westbound on Virginia Beach Boulevard between North Lynnhaven Road and Kings Grant Road. This continuous work schedule is needed to safely install a line stop and plug valve on the existing pipe in preparation for the installation of new pipe.
-- Night and Short Duration 24/7 Work to Begin in Early December --
HRSD, your regional wastewater treatment utility, will begin work to replace a section of the 24-inch sanitary sewer pipeline that extends from Kings Grant Road to Great Neck Road with a 42-in pipeline. The work in your area, between Kings Grant Road and North Lynnhaven Road, should take place primarily at night (beginning 12/4) with approximately one week of 24/7 "around the clock" work (beginning 12/11).
VIRGINIA BEACH – Motorists are advised that HRSD crews will be performing underground utility location work this week, beginning Wednesday, December 4 through Friday, December 6. Traffic on westbound Virginia Beach Boulevard between North Lynnhaven Road and Kings Grant Road will be reduced to two lanes while work takes place in the two right-most lanes each night between 9:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m.
