VIRGINIA BEACH - Virginia Governor Ralph Northam has appointed Molly Joseph Ward, of Hampton to serve on the HRSD Commission.
HAMPTON - HRSD today recognized 95 private and government organizations in Hampton Roads for perfect compliance with their environmental permits during 2018. Sixteen of those organizations were honored for demonstrating ten or more years of environmental excellence.

HRSD, your regional wastewater treatment utility, will begin work to replace a sanitary sewer pipeline at the intersection of Orcutt Avenue and Mercury Boulevard. This work should take place primarily between the hours of 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday - Friday.

HRSD, your regional wastewater treatment utility, is undertaking the construction of a new vacuum pump station and rehabilitation of pipelines located in your neighborhood as part of a larger, federally-mandated program to reduce the sanitary sewer overflows (SSOs) during rainstorms.
