HRSD, your regional wastewater treatment utility, has completed work to installation approximately 1,000 linear feet of sanitary sewer pipelines connecting to and located along Kecoughtan Road from Ivy Home Road to Clyde Street.

HRSD, your regional wastewater treatment utility, is undertaking a project to replace approximately 1,000 linear feet section of sanitary sewer pipeline located along Kecoughtan Road from Ivy Home Road heading south towards Clyde Street. This work is to take place primarily between the hours of 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. This work can be weather and situation dependent. --Restoration Work to Begin--

HRSD, your regional wastewater treatment utility, has completed the installation of a new sanitary sewer pipeline located along Elm Avenue from South Street to County Street. As part of the project, the contractor also successfully redirected two City of Portsmouth facilities (Neighborhood Facility Recreation Center and Portsmouth Community Library Museum) from the existing water line to an adjacent newer water line.

-- Final Phase of Sewer System Replacement Work --

HRSD, your regional wastewater treatment utility, nears completion of a multiyear project to
replace the aged sewer pipelines within the Rivermont neighborhood and pumping station
located on Center Avenue. HRSD recently completed the construction of a new pumping
station allowing for the decommissioning and removal of the older station allowing the
remaining pipeline replacement and vault installation work to begin.

--Portion of Chesapeake Avenue Closing to Thru Traffic--

HRSD, your regional wastewater treatment utility, is replacing a sanitary sewer pipeline located along a portion of Chesapeake Avenue from the Monitor Merrimac Overlook Park to the HRSD Pumping Station near Claremont Avenue. This work should take place primarily between the hours of 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
