VIRGINIA BEACH – HRSD crews will be performing sanitary sewer work which requires the temporary closure of all northbound lanes on Little Neck Road between Edinburgh Drive and N. Lynnhaven Road beginning Friday, July 8th at 8:00 p.m. through Tuesday, July 12th at 5:00 a.m. A detour will be in place for thru traffic by way of Virginia Beach Boulevard, Kings Grant Road, and N. Lynnhaven Road as indicated on the map below.
--Utility Work to Continue--
HRSD, your regional wastewater treatment utility, will begin work to install a sanitary sewer pipeline along Wythe Creek Road. This work should take place primarily between the hours of 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday – Friday.
--Utility Work to Begin--
HRSD, your regional wastewater treatment utility, will begin work to install a sanitary sewer pipeline within Downes Street between S. Mallory Street and S. Willard Avenue. The work within Downes Street should take place between the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday – Friday.
--Around the Clock Work to Begin--
HRSD, your regional wastewater treatment utility, is undertaking a project to inspect and perform maintenance of the internal sanitary sewer piping and valves along Little Neck Road. This work will be performed continuously 24 hours a day from Friday, July 8th through Tuesday, July 12th. This work can be weather and situation dependent and should not affect your water or sewer services.
--NOTICE OF 24-HOUR WORK--
The contractor for HRSD, your regional wastewater treatment utility, is planning a brief period of 24-hour work to pump out sanitary sewer pipelines. This work is necessary to prepare for the relocation of sanitary sewer pipelines on Park Avenue. Due to unforeseen weather conditions, the work has been delayed and will now occur between the following times:
9 AM Wednesday, 6/29/2022 - 9 AM Thursday, 6/30/2022
