--Utility Work to Begin--

HRSD, your regional wastewater treatment utility, will begin work to replace and/or raise the frames and covers of sewer manholes in the area. This work should take place primarily between the hours of 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday–Friday.

HRSD, your regional wastewater treatment utility, is planning a project to repair aging sanitary sewer pipelines and manholes in your neighborhood. This project will improve the system’s performance during wet weather events and provide continued, reliable sewer service for generations to come. NORFOLK – HRSD (Hampton Roads Sanitation District) Chief Technology Officer, Dr. Charles B. Bott, PhD, PE, BCEE, was recently appointed by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) as a new member of the Science Advisory Board (SAB) and was chosen to serve as board Chair.

--Lateral Work to Occur--

HRSD, your regional wastewater treatment utility, is working on sewer pipes and lateral connections on the east and west sides of S. Willard Avenue from Downes Street to National Avenue. This work will include replacing lateral connections and sewer pipe that is near the end of its useful life. This work is scheduled to take place between 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday – Friday and could include weekend work.

HRSD, your regional wastewater treatment utility, will begin work to rehabilitate sewer manholes along Berkley Avenue, Whitehead Avenue, Mahone Avenue, and State Street. This work should take place primarily between the hours of 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday – Friday.

--Utility Work to Occur--

HRSD, your regional wastewater treatment utility, needs to make a repair to the tracer wire (helps locate buried utilities quickly and safely) along River Creek Road as part of the Great Bridge Boulevard Sanitary Sewer Improvements project. This work should take place primarily between the hours of 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday – Friday.

--Utility Work to Occur--

HRSD, your regional wastewater treatment utility, will begin work to rehabilitate a sanitary sewer pipeline along Atlantic Avenue. This work should take place primarily between the hours of 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday – Friday.

--Manhole Repair to Occur--

HRSD, your regional wastewater treatment utility, will make a modification/repair to a manhole at the intersection of Great Bridge Boulevard and Bainbridge Boulevard as part of the Great Bridge Boulevard Sanitary Sewer Improvements project. This work should take place primarily between the hours of 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday – Friday.
