Onancock Meter Replacement
HRSD Capital Improvement Project (ES010600)

HRSD is undertaking a project to replace nearly 800 water meters in the Town of Onancock and install four (4) new County of Accomack water meters in the Town of Accomac. The existing meters may be outdated, in questionable condition, and non-compliant with regards to HRSD’s metering standards. The existing meters will be replaced with new meters featuring automated readings to ensure accurate billing moving forward. The new meters will be owned and operated by the Town of Onancock and the County of Accomack, but HRSD will bill the clients for the water service.
